Importance of cleaning a dryer vent

Many of our customers told us, that few years back they did not clean a Ryder vent on a regular Basic.
We always tell them – it was a huge mistake! Why?
It is known fact that dryer vent may cause a fire of your house!
In fact, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission estimates that in 1998, clothes dryers caused 15,600 fires, which took 20 lives and caused 370 injuries. Fires can occur when lint builds up in the dryer or in the exhaust duct. Lint can block the flow of air, then cause excessive heat build-up, and result in a fire in some dryers. It is very dangerous, you can not only lose your house, but also injure yourself or even die, burn to death!

We always tell our customers they are few steps to prevent the dryer vent fires:
1. Clean the lint screen/filter before or after drying each load of clothes.
2. Clean the dryer vent and exhaust duct periodically.
3. Clean behind the dryer, where lint can build up.
4. Replace plastic or foil, accordion-type ducting material with rigid or corrugated semi-rigid metal duct.
5. Take special care when drying clothes that have been soiled with volatile chemicals such as gasoline, cooking oils, cleaning agents, or finishing oils and stains.
It is very important to take those steps under consideration, if anyone have a problem with cleaning a dryer vent by himself, contact Los Angeles air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning company and they will do all the work for you.
Do not wait until it is too late!
